Costume Guide

At all LARP Entertainment events we have a set standard of costume that must be met for playing each race. Some races have a higher costume standard then others; this is because some races take more work, costume wise, to make a player look like that race. Costume covers makeup, clothing, prosthetic makeup and accessories.

Why do we have costume standards?

We have costume standards to help improve our customer’s role play experience. By players and monsters looking like the race they are meant to be playing it makes it easier for other to role playa round them. This is because it will become easily recognisable what race you are playing. Costume standards is all part of LARP Entertainments efforts to immerse the player in a high fantasy world.

It’s important to remember to use suitable fabrics and clothing when putting together your costume. You must always keep in mind that your are playing a character in a high fantasy world. This means that clothing fashions will rang between primeval to Napoleonic depending upon the race. Jeans, trainers, t-shits, tracksuits and other such clothing, should never been warn on the out side of your costume.
